wtf!
but in a good way
Hmm... Okay.

Great concept, DIRTBAG! >:3
I can't wait to get going on this story-line! :>
Joe Votero in the hizouse! Great Job! Should be cool to see where this one goes.
Um. I'm not sure about this one ...
Joe Is back and doing product placement!!
Great characters!!! It's like frankenstein with ask a ninja. :D
I love the constant Ben Stiller impression!
It's relentless...
Dude someone! have the monster be like Brittney Spears or something. That would be kinda funny.
It doesn't have to be a monster at all. And I would be pleased if it also was not Brittney Spears.
Rockstar!!! The man himself, is back from the dead! Any chance we'll see some of your work on this contest? C'mon, whaddayasay?!
Please ... no one bring Jim back from the dead ... Can we put that in the official rules?
Initially, I was not feeling this story... It's growing on me now.
And it's good to see you again, Joe.
David, you read my mind. Although this contest does wrap up in December. Maybe a re-animated Jim is in order. Don't forget, Rootclip is the place Santa comes to get naughty.
At first I didn't know what to make of this turn, but after a second viewing, I admit it's pretty fun.
The characters are distinct and that's a huge plus. I wish more had happened, however, and that it all had happened quicker. Any reason why this couldn't have been 1:30 or even 2 min?
Happy to see the product placement. I hope it brings in some more funds!
Haha, great! Its nice to have a lighter video for a change. Everything in the past has been so serious (okay, minus Hold On April!). But I do see good ol' Jim coming back. If I wasn't so busy with chapter 6 I might even do it myself. Fun stuff though.
@wblank it could have been shorter, but then the characters wouldn't be as distinct. Good character development, Les & Joe. I thought that scene where he was on hold was hilarious. LOL "i'm super hungs". I agree, it's even better the second time.

I just wanted to make sure that errbody knew what we were hoping to accomplish with the chapters on this story. To help with the flow, we've broken out the chapters in the following general story outline:
Chapter 1: Introduction
Chapter 2: Conflict
Chapters 3 & 4: Rising Tension
Chapter 5: Climax
Chapter 6: Resolution
Oh, and if you want, we have an RSS Feed for our blog that you can subscribe to. That way you'll always get the latest news on what's going on with Rootclip! Subscribe, dang it! Subscribe!!
Thanks David, good to be back
What's with the name of the building? Is that an inside joke?
Raises Hand I read the blog constantly
Ingolstadt is a city in Germany. It's the birth place of the monster created by Victor Frankenstein, in the original (Mary Shelley's) Frankenstein.
I'm gettin' in on this one! Looks funny! And could be a blast to make!
@gluns4d looking forward to seeing your submission!
Hey, how do you like the DVX100b? Any complaints?
Ingolstadt is also the home of Audi -- where Volkswagon makes a more expensive, crappy version of ... well ... Volkswagons.
well, allrighty
@Tony update your profile, son! Hahah!!
These characters are great, and the story starts with a great place to go.
I wish I had a camera so I could start filming and submitting my projects. I'm trying to grab one on ebay but the bids get pretty high above my limit.
Sweet product placement. Reminds me of Truman Show.
Some guy needs to come alive from under the blanket and then start beating up frank and igor meanwhile advertising for those old sock-em bopers because He uses them to beat igor and frank up.
You make it really hard for us to transform this into a spy/action movie about kidnapping or extortion you know. Really hard.
lol, somethingsawry, i think you're on to me. But alas, I won't be surprised when it ends up in spy/mafia land. After all, Igor looks like a well known nephew of a Crime Boss.
I want to see hungrymother back in this game.
I wonder why I capitalized crime boss. Must've been important.
Need one of those last chance edit countdowns before a comment is finilaized.
Person comes to life, knocks Igor out, and kidnaps doctor frank. Igor turns out to be the nephew of a big Crime Boss, who's been keep watch over doctor frank because he owes them a bunch of money. Now the mob has to track down the kidnapper, and Igor is the main man.
There ya go, spy/mafia right back on RootClip...
dang nabbit!
ask and ye shall receive erik
why would anyone comment here no one reads them
I read the comments. tear
what do you mean no one reads them?
I can already feel Santa Claus trying to get out from under that sheet. The suspense is murder.
I read them. Killerrobotninja, nice work, I love the Neil Patrick Harris reference! I may not be able to stay out of this one....
This whole clip is kind of a NPH reference. You guys would do awesome! You seem to have a knack for funny voices.
This looks like it could be a lot of fun... LOVE the NPH and Ingolstadt references. Feeling the need to watch Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog again... ;-)
Ugh. I guess I'm officially hooked on Rootclip now. Too bad the only camera work I've ever done inevitably winds up with shots of turf because I forget to shut the equipment off... Guess I'll sit on the sidelines and enjoy the view, though! Looking forward to it. :-)
If I see Jim in this contest, I'm abandoning Rootclip and moving to France.
They call Santa Claus Pere Noel
Oui. J'au vu la Clause Santa aussi.
Hey If Rockstar "comes back from the dead" Maybe (just putting this out there) he could be the monster!?! Eheeeh? It would be a guy dressed in black with black paint on his skin and a question mark on his face! HAHAHA
Rockstar... I thought you were "done with that gig". Don't make me make another mocumentary!
Hey, Eric... I love the camera but I'm still learning all it's functions. So far I'm thrilled with the image quality and it's really much lighter than I thought it would be. It's pretty easy to set up for basic operation though and this is my second project shooting with it. I'm a long way from being comfortable with it but hopefully I'll get better with each shoot! Good luck to everyone!
I will be --woefully-- disappointed if Santa does not appear in this. In fact, I think someone should make a tasteful Santa background for this website. After all Jim's been through for Rootclip, it just seems like we should give something back.
Funny voices? No sir. I, tragically, always sound that way.
lol... Eric's voice in "are you santa" sounded like Clint Eastwood.. But then there's the mad scientist in the equally under appreciated "Tightly Knit". I think you guys would do a really good job with this concept. You've got that wacky, clever thing going on.
fu=k you guys that didint like it .that was the snhit
